DESCRIPTION

This map is an ancient temple of the Sith, dating back to a time far before even the tombs at Korriban were built. It was constructed on a volcanic planet, thus the lava. It contains: An entrance chamber; The Great Hall; The Throne Room; The Meditation Room; The Library; The Dungeon. The Throne Room has an upper balcony, accessible via a stair, the bottom of which is accessible via the entrance chamber. It's the door on the right. On the opposite side of the Throne Room, is the Meditation Room. In between the Great Hall and the Meditation Room is a long corridor with fiery jets that propel you across the corridor (I was inspired by that air-joust type of duel as experienced in Jedi Outcast, on Bespin, when you first meet the reborn). On the other end of this corridor is a side entrance to the library. There is a pit here which leads to the execution chamber of the Dungeon. There is no escape from this chamber, other than death. In the centre of the dungeon is a lever which causes spikes to impale any humanoids inside the chamber. Of course, if you're tired of waiting, you can just hop in the lava.
And there's a secret area, full of heavy weaponry. In the .PK3 file are instructions on how to find it.
There is no unsourced lighting in this map, I was careful to avoid that. If there is a light, it is from a torch, lava, crystal, or the sky.
BUGS: Yes. When you go through doors sometimes you see other doors disappear for a split second. As far as I can tell, it's a side-affect of putting areaportal in between doors. However, if I didn't do this, the engine would be drawing the ENTIRE map at all times, and the fps would be murder.
MUSIC: It's the third movement (Intermezzo. Allegro Moderato) of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto op. 16 no. 2 in G minor. Lasts about 6 minutes. I think it really increases the evil atmosphere of the Sith Temple. I wanted the whole concerto, but the file would be too big.

VERSION 2: If there is a version 2, it may or may not include:
Bot Routes
A new secret area
Bug Fixes
New Sounds
CTF Support
More rounded, natural-looking edges in the ground where the lava is, in the Great Hall.
If you think there should be a version 2, please leave a comment! However, bot routing is very difficult for me, and I you want bot routes, I'd be happy to give you the .map file. My email is fishwithoutwings AT hotmail DOT com.

Special thanks: RichDiesel and his tutorials on mapping. Without him, this map would not have been possible. And LucasArts and Raven Software for this game, and making it so easy to modify.
